I am Greek and i have been in Toronto in the past.It reminded me a little bit of Athens, not the monuments but the attitude of the people.😊

It was nice meeting you in person yesterday in my neighborhood Gabriel! Enjoyed our brief chat and hope you had fun here in Toronto.

You were so close to Kensington Market at the beginning of the video, that neighbourhood is right up your alley being the city's epicentre of all things bohemian/hippie.

Gabe - so great that you're in Toronto, my hometown! Have followed you for years, love your travel video and discussions; a great way to learn about your travels and get to know you. At 5:48 in your video you passed "Sonic Boom" a fabulous record store, a must see/visit. So much to see/do in Toronto; a few days ago saw "Billy Idol" in concert. Long time fan of Dylan's - so many great albums of his such as "Desire" and "Street Legal'. Love the song "North Temple" by Samuel McCumber (you included it in one of your many videos). I live in the neighbourhood of Cabbagetown; online search says it's “the largest continuous area of preserved Victorian housing in all of North America”. Not far from where you walked/filmed in "Chinatown"/"Queen St" - a short streetcar ride east. You would have been welcome to stay at our home - steps to transit. Also found this online: Toronto is more diverse than any city in the world, including New York City and London. More than half its population of 3 million was born outside of Canada, and upward of 180 languages are spoken here.

It's so funny we can all remember our first two albums, it is a snapshot of our age and musical taste as youngsters, my first two I was around 10 years old and I bought Elton John Yellowbrick Road and Jim Croce Greatest Hits.

Nice video Gab as usual! Do you use an external mic for this video? It sounds very clear to me. If so, would you care to tell me what mic were you using?

Also when you were speaking of music I hoped you went to the iconic building on Queen street near you where Much Music was! It’s was the Canadian version of MTV. Sadly it’s set to be torn down for condos now. Also near you but more east of you is The Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts- a gorgeous contemporary building for dance and opera. The iconic Massey Hall is a short distance away as well.
The area you were in is the downtown part and it’s a bit more raw but there’s some absolutely beautiful areas of the city as well. Hopefully next time!

Hi from South East Virginia USA -I thought you were a lot younger than me. I’m about your age then because I was in high school in the mid 80s in fact, I went to high school with Dave Navarro’s brother, from the Red Hot chili peppers
And yes, echo and the Bunnymen were my favorite group growing up in the 80s from Red Hot chili peppers in Los Angeles, California lol —one of my fave Vloggers!

Massive Attack (Mezzanine 1998) and Portishead (Dummy 1994) were the staple albums I listened to which gave me the most inspiration back in the day. Loved your eclectic choices too Gabriel. 🤗

Hi Gabriel, Toronto is a fascinating city with a lot to offer but those Canadian winters have much to be desired for. For many of these big cities across the world, a way of dealing with graffiti vandalism is having designated areas for artists to display their work without fear of arrest would be just ideal for an open museum type of display. Where artists can discuss and express ideas and concepts in a forum, organizing is so much needed in many of these situations if this can get out of control and become a problem as it has in so many of these cities. I found music from Harry Chapin folk music is very underrated.

Hi Gabriel, I really enjoy your channels! I think it might be a good time to consider upgrading your camera for better stabilization and a richer color profile. The Insta360 Ace Pro could be a great option—it offers excellent stabilization and color features. Keep up the great work!
