Former Cub Foods in Aurora,IL

Located at 55 S. Constitution Dr., Aurora, IL 60506 closed in late 2006 with the dozen other Chicago-land Cub Foods and empty ever since.
---On August 12, 2012, a church group opened the doors to check out the place to see if they can re-purpose it and they gladly allowed me to walk in and take pictures.

I grew up on LeGrande Blvd off of Galena in Aurora my whole life with my wonderful family. My Mom would take us grocery shopping on Sundays there and they used to have all the food taste tests and we got lots of good groceries there at that same Cub Foods. Oh how I miss it and my youth and Aurora!! Thanks for sharing!! You just brought me back to the 1990's & early 2000's. The memories with my family will live on forever. We now shop at Walmart, Aldi & Woodman's. But I miss Cub Foods!!❤️

Cub Foods was also in the Atlanta area for about 10 years. But, thanks to Kroger, Publix, and Wal-Mart, Cub Foods left Atlanta.

Use too have a Cub Foods at Huntington WV long time ago but it's a Kroger now
