Shuffle List of Names/Items in Excel (2 Easy Methods)

In this video, I will show you two easy methods you can use to shuffle (randomize) a list of names or items in Excel.

The first method uses the SORTBY and RANDARRAY function, which are available only in Microsoft 365, and the second method uses the RAND function, which will work in any version of Excel.

Instead of right clicking on the selection, then right clicking again to paste values, you can use the ADDM (Alternate Drag and Drop Menu) by right clicking on the right border of the selected range, drag to another location *while holding the right mouse button down, then dragging back to the original location. This will open the ADDM and there's an option to "Copy here as Values"... That is a super fast way to grab a selected range of cells and paste them back to the original location as values with a flick of the wrist.
