It’s a shame. We’ll miss him in Pittsburgh. 2 cup and a point per game guy. Well liked, too, judging from all the jersey he sells.

back to the leafs to play on the same line as nylander, they form the most hated line in leafs history. they would score 100 points each and people would complain about how phil is fat and nylander makes 2694803 million

Kessel should go to Edmonton. He would excel there along with McDavid and the organization.

Maybe Buffalo if he isn’t too expensive? Idk what price he would be but Botts has a great relationship with Pittsburgh so maybe the Blues 1st round pick for Kessel

Kinda funny there’s no legitimate source behind this rumor. Some hockey “analyst” came out 3 days ago and said hmm kessel to the wild but for who? Their most valuable guy is Zucker and everyone since then has ran off with this story. 0 reports out of Pittsburgh regarding this trade. Rutherford has also stated kessel isn’t on the trade block but he’d be open to offers meaning he’s not going to actively attempt to trade kessel but IF one of the 8 teams on trade clause calls and offers a juicy deal Rutherford MIGHT pull the trigger on it. The penguins love him, the city loves him, he loves the city and the team. Kessel is staying a penguin. Funny how after everyone realized Malkin has a full no movement clause they created a new rumor. This is exactly how he got traded out of Toronto

Anyone remember when Elliot tried to say they were trading Malkin? Hard to believe he still has a job...

I just can't believe it I mean I'm sorry but can someone please explain to me who isn't bias towards one side or the other what the hell is the big deal about Phil Kessel? I mean I just don't thing he's as good as people think! Maybe 5 6 years ago yea but He's like acting like he's the best player in the league when I can probably name 30 or more easily better. He was lucky as hell to be on those pens teams that won back to back. He had very little to do with those wins. He's much slower than he was probably because he refuses to be in shape so what is the infatuation with this guy other than he used to be a leaf and he's Canadian

If you're going to trade Kessel, I would say send him to either Tampa, Calgary, Boston, or dare I say New Jersey.

I loved kessel while he was here but it only makes sense to get value out of him before he ages too much. Pens need to move on and seek other options
