Haynes 188, or in generic terms alloy 188, is a Cobalt based high strength corrosion and heat resistant alloy.
Primary constituents are Cobalt, Nickel, Chromium, and Tungsten. UNS designation for this alloy is R30188. It is used in applications that require corrosion resistance and high strength at temperatures as high as 1800 deg F.
