I personally prefer pycharm as its preconfigured and do a lot od things automatically for newbie like me. For example its creating automatically separate env for each project. For me its sufficent for the beginnig.
I found small error in Your code.
Multiply funcion returns substraction return number_2 - number_1. Just small typo.

My Vscode is showing me the wrong output in the terminal, any solution to this problem
