I love these short formats with just the pure data and no fluff. Keep it up!

The number of followers of this channel should be 10 thousand even today

Thank you for the comparison! It's very interesting that the EVO's high-static-pressure fans blowing on a coated/painted fin stack are not an improvement over lesser non-EVO fans with raw aluminum fins. What happens when you put the EVO fans onto the non-EVO heatsink??

less than 1 degrees cooler but 6db louder, yh not really worth it tbh

I'm sooo glad, that I have found your channel! The quality of information, and the range of tested relevant coolers is truly impressive.

Commenting here because this is currently the best video regarding the difference between these coolers on the internet;

The K12 fans weigh 220g each, 27dba, 69cfm, 2.87 mm H2O (MAX), 2150 RPM, S-FDB V2 bearing
The C12 fans weigh 120g each, 25.6dba, 66cfm, 1.53 mm H20 (MAX), 1550 RPM, S-FDB bearing

Some users in discord report that the bearings in the K12 are quieter, but I'm not sure I can hear my PS120 C12's fan's bearings (edit, yes I can! They drone at about 60% but then disappear when going up higher). I keep the fans under 50% though. Many people are saying the K12 is a superior fan, but I'm not super sure. We need more testing of these fans and it seems they are pretty new, and there are no reviews of them on the internet as of yet. So people report the new bearing is quieter, but this video says that overall the fans are much louder.

It would be great to see a comparison with equalized noise levels for these fans, since on the K12 fan 50% would be ~1075 RPM, and on the C12 fan would be 775 RPM. I am very curious to what the performance is at equal fan speeds, and noise levels. The EVO looks really nice, but 6dba is very noticeable and will matter for people wanting a silent build.

Please do another review on this cooler if you can, comparing these two fans more closely. The internet (reddit mostly, lol) is trying to find the best cooler for their money! Thank you for these awesome quick reviews. Hope this information helps someone looking at the difference between these two coolers/fans

TA had to have some ding in the armor. Imagine this good looking cooler also improving on the regular phantom spirit

can you try that evo fan on other phantom spirit models

I have the B12 fans on my PS SE, which are essentially the K12's in the EVO. Whats the best speed to cap for max performance to noise profile on AM4/5? I have a 5800X3D.

On the review.. curious if the black coating (zinc?) affects performance somewhat in the EVO. In Noctua's NH-D15's Chromax there's a discrepancy of around 1C between that and the OG model iirc.

In this case I see that the EVO did not evolve in performance. Al maximum watts the SE is better. True?

How about Phantom Spirit 120 (SE) vs Peerless Assassin 120 (non SE)?

to bad the evo doesn't at least match the performance since it looks a lot better

For the same performance and around the same price ill go with the Evo cause i can always replace the stock fans with my chromax or al 120 i have but i cant replace the look of the actual cooler

Friendly reminder that your title is wrong, should be vs EVO

You need a bigger CPU with a bigger power load. 130w is too low to compare CPU coolers than can handle 220-275w, and the 5800x is to small to show cooler performance, because the thermal density is too high after 100w.
It's a "65w" part afterall, no matter what AMD factory settings are.
