Taylor's 814 is considered by most players to be the flagship model of the brand. But the "Builders" got a hold of it and created their own "Edition" that is absolutely stunning!
Seriously, Taylor's Builder's Editions are always awe-inspiring. They're some of our favorite guitars that come through the doors. This one, however, raised the bar for any future BE's. The 4-piece Adirondack spruce top puts a new sheen on the 814 tone, and the beveled cutaway and armrest add to the comfort while playing. But, the setup out of the box... Holy Bleep! I don't have an electric with action this low. No buzz, incredible sustain. It nearly plays itself.
