Показать описание
Organization leaders want to “let builders build” while avoiding cost surprises. AWS offers tools to help you consolidate billing, create permission controls, and establish a unified view of your costs by member (linked) accounts. AWS also provides resources to help you monitor spend and, ultimately, take timely action to prevent unnecessary overage. In this session, learn cost control best practices and how you can use services such as AWS Budgets, AWS Cost Explorer, and other AWS Billing and Cost Management services to prevent cost overruns and manage spend without slowing innovation.

That's a great high level overview and what's available in AWS for Billing & Costs. Thanks!

Select an IAM role... I got stuck on that part, could you please provide which IAM role is the one appropriated to stop the EC2 instances.

I have tried to add an automated action with my budget multiple times, but the updating budget message keeps loading but never actually updates. I also added the AwsserviceRolefor support IAM

When defining the AWS Budgets action to stop EC2 instances, you pre-select a bunch of instance IDs. What about in cases where you don't know the instance IDs? For example, new EC2 instances are spun up, the budget hits the 100% threshold, and the action is to "Stop EC2 instances". Can the AWS Budgets action stop the new instances that just spun up?
