i loveee rewrite covers so here's my take on "champagne problems" by taylor swift from her new album evermore! written from the other pov of the person who proposed and was has left behind:( i started this on tiktok and wanted to finish the whole thing & imagine what their life would be like after they'd moved on so yeah i hope you like! & enjoy da snowfallll

I really love this twist on the original because in Taylor's version the girl was "fucked in the head" for leaving him, but he's "fucked up" too for still loving her - the absolute saddest part of this cover!!

This is the absolute saddest full rewrite of champagne problems oh my god. I really truly hope that Taylor commentates on what she thinks happens next but then again, I love how much story there is to run our imaginations wild with the song itself. Also the way you wrote it kind of reminds me of the folklore love triangle. So much love for this cover!
