Apple HomePod first look

Apple announced the HomePod speaker yesterday at WWDC. Apple claims the speaker will reinvent music in homes like the iPod did for music on the go.

am I the only one that has never had a desire to know what song was popular on what day? even if I did I wouldn't just ask my assistant to play the most popular song of that day not knowing what the song is.

really what amazon should do is make a eco that acts as a bridge so you can use your own hifi speakers and control the music with alexa

Not to mention Microsoft introduced 4k on smartphones and showed us that not everything needs apps it can also run full programs

One mayor problems I predict based on the current state of Siri is finding English songs in other languages - right now Siri can't really do that and whenever I somehow have to use it to play a specific song it always ends up with me saying the English title as German as possible so it can recognise it... I'm quite curious whether they are aware of this and have plans to fix it but for now this leaves me very concerned with the HomePod's usability outside the US, Canada, U.K., Australia etc.

I see people in the future modding this to run Google Assistant instead of Siri. There's workaround in Alexa already...
I mean it looks great, just loaded with wrong assistant.
