It is astonishing that Jyoti Malhotra takes RG seriously. Rahul lacks depth, experience and the gravitas to be taken seriously. I seriously doubt that he comprehends the complicated history of our geopolitical relations with China, now complicated by the Ukraine war.

Rahul Gandhi can learn from the Davos team. Aaditya Thackeray was asked about politics in Davos and he clearly said, "We are here for India". Heck even Tejaswi Yadav who was in same seminar with RaGa avoided politics. Tejasvi Yadav, barely passed high school and has better political acumen than RaGa. Gandhis should retire.

Its really sad that you've given time for a statement given by a irresponsible, half-baked politician who has zero relevance in national politics.

RG is not Vajpayee. A person who thinks India is not a nation, anyways can't be entrusted with such a responsibility. For a person, who thinks best place to talk about india is foreign land and not parliament and has signed secret MoU with China, what you can expect. Never mind, just few words from FM is a reason for luteun's celebration !!

Vajpayee was true patriot and ideal opposition

1. As a responsible journalist (and I do hold you in high regard), at 11:23 have you seriously referred to RaGa as the opposition leader? Leader of what? He doesn't even hold a post in his party!
2. So if I am hearing you right (and RaGa, since you seem to support his view) because China MAY invade the LAC, which you yourself concede is highly unlikely, we should NOW strongly condemn Russia when nearly 97% of our army infrastructure comes from Russia? One word- WOW!
3. And did you really say that our Foreign Affairs Ministry does NOT put National Interest first? Please tell me you were joking or being sarcastic when you said that. Please.... Please...

Rahul has neither the capacity nor the character for his opinion to count on any national issue. He is dull but toxic enough to suggest that India is only a Union of States and not a nation.

It is just a coincidence ! Rahul Gandhi is definitely not accomodative or helpful like Atal Bihari. He in fact has destroyed the chances of concensus if any. Besides, honestly does he really know what is being talked about ??? Most people think he doesn't.

In 1990 foreign policy was above tu-tu mai-mai only because the leader of opposition was Mr Vajapayee. As long as congress and a gandhi at its helm, the opposition can only do what ot did to their own Manmohan Singh, it was again Mr Vajapayee mind you who supported Manhoman on various issues which his own party opposed. That's congress for you 👎👎

This is exactly why people will not buy your subscription. You have elevated a joker to the rank of a serious politician, and his antics are being seriously discussed. Even RG says Pappu is a joke, but here we are plain as day throwing up what a person with the same IQ as a door knob said as a serious point of debate. I am actually disappointed in our Minister. He should clearly know better, RG's are not worth a reply. I don't want to pay any money to support this tamasha.

When Atal ji was asked to lead the Indian delegation, Rao ji was in the helm of affairs of the Congress. Their intellect needs no introduction. I don't think Modi ji has the leisure of such a person in the opposition.

I feel Rahul Gandhi is not serious about having true discussion about india-china challenges, he just needs a parliament platform to bash the BJP government for any reason. Not sure if it is productive. I haven’t heard a single productive idea coming from him that will help improve the situation.

De hyphenate your journalism with Congress, rest is fine with "the print"

Stature of AB Vajpayee was much higher. RG comes no where close to him.
Can any body in his senses think of sending RG as head of a delegation going abroad to represent India.

Good try on 'The Print's part, to do damage control. But it should realize that it can be done only 'Thus far no further'. At least congressmen have started realizing.

Another bit of naive analysis! When Mr Vajpayee was nominated as India's representative to defend India at UN, it because of his erudition, knowledge and unquestionable patriotism. What Does RaGa bring to table?

The while aim of opposition is just to embarrass the Govt by playing up on the Chinese aggression and denting the strong arm image of Mr Modi. There is nothing that Cong brings to the table, on the postitve side, for India.
On the contrary, RG has repeatedly criticised and let down national interests with ill founded and half baked arguments. Does anyone expect anything postive from him and the somnabulent and near extinction Cong?
Maybe Ms Jyoti Malhotra and her naivety!

In my view Print does not have India’s National Interest in mind, only anti BJP agenda.
