Potting mix had a real moment amongst the plant community here on YouTube and it was right on time because I had a ton of plants to repot! I'm happy to report that all the plants I put in this mixture are thriving!

I wanted to tell you all more about our process, talk favorite YouTubers, and get your feedback on some video ideas. What's better way for plant people to chat other than over some soil!

My mix recipe follows Kaylee's pretty closely. Here are the ratios and links to the products I used.

I’ve been considering starting a YouTube channel for my plants as well. I start an IG I’m to do a few IG TV first to see if I can get the hang of that first. Great video. Love the repotting videos because I feel like I over think the process 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

Hi Celia, I'm from long island. I'm glad to have come across your channel. I, too, am a big YouTube fan, especially indoor houseplants. There are quite a few black plant channels. They would be hard to find because the channel obviously would not be under black or African American so the more channels you visit the more will come up in your recommended box. (Plant Daddy, Apartment Therapy, Gerard's Horticulture Culture, Exotic Tropical Houseplants older vids, Fom Miss Abby, Simply Alicia, etc. Other well established houseplants video, Planterina, Winding Leaf, Casey's Green Thumb, Summer Rayne. Too many to remember. We can all learn a little from each one. Keep the videos coming, love them!

I don't know plant channels well, but I used to watch a lot of beauty you tubers, now it's more home decor and organizing and lifestyle. The Organized Soprano is an opera singer in the Boston area who's also a professional organizer and gaming YouTuber. She's into plants too. If you like Drew and Alexandra, watch Hermione Chantal and Danie Buerger (sp?). You definitely fill a needed viewpoint in the home/diy arena.

Thank you for this. I love plants and cared for my mom's window plants in our Brooklyn apartment. But as an adult I can't keep them alive. I'm not a fan of faux plants. You are inspiring me to keep trying. Keep it up!
