Hey Asia. Love these lights. I have 2 of them. You can actually dim the light by holding the button. So all 3 settings can also be dimmed or brightened.

I had considered this light myself though ultimately decided on the STKR Fli-Overl-Lander. Similar idea, light output, weight etc. main differences are that the STKR is 360 lighting always, has white and red light (no filters needed), has a remote (can control 2 lights at once), the light is not removable, and extends to 10’. I’ve purchased 2 and have used them on about 6 camping trips.

The trip to Overland Expo VA was the cherry on top for us. We came back with 2 lights from them. It's awesome.

My favorite camp lights. They just came out with a 360 motion detector attachment. Mine come this week can't wait to play with it.

Great light, you can also just order the lightranger USB-C lantern head ($79) and their 1/4-20 adapter and put it on your own tripod, so it's much cheaper than the full kit.

However once you have the light you're going to be hooked and want the rest of the bells and whistles. The tripod is very sturdy

I like this but need a remote that would mount to the stand.

My wife and I were having the camp light discussion this weekend. Might be time for us to step up. Thanks for the insightful review.

I bought the ReadyLight (two, eventually) largely based on your review and I love them for power outages. Now I just bought two of the Devos 1200 with the motion sensor, extra battery and the filters. The motion sensor kinda acts in lieu of a remote.

WOW, about time you got with the times. I have had this light(gen 1) for over a year now and love it. I want another, but don't have the extra $ to get one. I need companies to send me free stuff.

I have the Tuff Stuff Overland Light and it's a great light but, It's so big and takes up soo much space to pack.

Yeah, these are pretty nice lights. I started with one of those UFO lights, those things are bulky and hard to put together. The devos takes up a lot less space and is simple to put up.

Should I get these or the FLi OVER-LANDER 10' Telescoping Light with Wireless Remote which seems to have some key advantages

I would love to have the three legs individually extended, because when I'm on an unleveled ground the stand will not be adjustable, remote is missing, and what's about the end of the legs, are they some how protected against scratches? Greetings from Germany 😉

Great looking light. I wonder if the color filters will avoid attracting bugs.

I didn’t receive the colored filters with mine…. Aren’t those sold as an accessory?
