Can we extend the wire of senser 5 meater to 10 meater

Why not connecting on chronologic channels like 1-2-3-4-5, but 1-2-5-9-16.

Situation: 16 lights, 1 is downstairs, 16 is upstairs.

Problem: when I walk beside sensor B, lights are going ON from 1-16, but upstairs I walk beside sensor A and lights are going ON from 16-1. I was thinking lights are going off from 1-16 when walking upstairs and not going ON again from 16-1.
