In 2016, Pink Floyd released "The Early Years 1965-1972" boxset which features various outtakes, live versions, mixes, and even more rarities from the first part of Pink Floyd's discography. Since then, almost the entire boxset has been re-released separately in volumes however the final volume, "Continu/ation" remains exclusive to the original physical boxset and is not available for streaming. Ever since the success of the exclusive live version of "Echoes" I now have the entire volume and will be uploading each track from it to this channel!

The first 6 tracks were taken from a BBC Radio session on the 25th of September 1967. This is track 1 from the volume (also featured in the 'cre/ation' compilation) .

Amazing! Syd sounds just fine. He wanted out of the Floyd. I believe there was a falling out between him Roger Waters and the band. He hated Norman Smith. They (Pink Floyd members and Norman Smith kept undermining his Artist and musical ideas constantly during and after Piper. Pressure and constant hounding led Syd to take lots of drugs to escape. I believe he took Mandrax to help calm himself and took to much when he couldn’t cope along with LSD. He also was exhausted from their ridiculous live performance schedule. He got tired of going on stage doing the same thing that was expected over and over so he stood there almost defiantly in protest on drugs to say F you to record company and just tripped out because he didn’t care his own band mates turned on him because they wanted Syd to make them a fortune writing See Emily Play songs over and over again. He sings fabulously in September of 67 In these BBC sessions he wanted out and they were pissed. They laughed at him when he wanted to go back to being a painter and doing experimental music.
