I started playing this game at the end of s11 and I decided to start playing vel'koz because his abilities just seemed fun and his character design is awesome (I strongly believe that is the fact for all void legends) and although I only started playing it for fun, at the fourth game I was already looking up guides and that's when I found this channel. It has taught me a lot and even though I still don't fully get how the game works or I still lack mechanics I'm still fond of vel'koz :))). Thanks for the amazing videos azzapp and keep on going

I can confirm, the kitten is how azzapps community looks and talks like

Whole last season i played vel'koz with crown and horizon focus due to fact that almost every game after lvl 6 enemies can one-tap you with a combo(or even half of a combo) in 1.5-3 seconds.
Hope that durability patch will let build more agressive items.

Played a bit of PBE today. The durability patch nerfed 100-0 bursts to the point you can't misplay if you want the squishy to die.
Survived a Jax towerdive as an ADC. Also, got executed because I flash-auto'd under enemy tower only for my target to survive with a sliver of HP.
Poking matters much more.

Unfortunately Horizon Focus is currently bugged, not working with Vel’Koz passive

Even though it was supposed to work with true damage. It was working season 11 but for some reason it stoped working on pre season 12.
I reported this bug already but Riot ignored. At least it still works with the true damage from the ult

im not ganna lie i resently start paying vel mid and i loved him even if i was struggling a lot specialy when my enemy are fed but i just did the same thing that u told same runes same build i started with an irelia mid that was supper fed at 10min with 5/1 while i was 1/0 and i ended having kill without knowing 12/02 (irelia ended 9/6 XD) tnx for this

What kinds of enemy team compositions does Vel'Koz do particularly well into? What does he struggle against, either in lane matchups or team comps? I'm guessing he doesn't have the easiest time vs. dive?

He has way too much wave clear and let me steal jungle camps in a pinch
