The thing about me is i work with this new girl at my job and she is pretty attractive. All the guys think so too but I'm the one who's like, "ehh she's okay." She's gorgeous but I'm teaching myself not to take things at face value. But I was so attracted to her that I started thinking about her a lot. But I decided to pay less attention to that and see what she had to offer besides looks. So I asked her out to lunch and I got to know a lot about her. We had a really great time. The only thing is now I have a slight crush so anytime I'm around her I act like she's nobody when I'm actually super drawn to her. Help.

I love this dude for all young men and women trying to understand romance in this current society. But I will put a cavat on what he has said. And it's an add on. Not a take-away from what he has said. If you have a football player build, and you know she has seen you in your element. There comes a " What if' factor. If your just taller it's not bad, but if your tall and broad. Her caution just might come from "what if I say no". Chivalry isn't dead. We just forgot why we as men even practiced it in the first place. I'm 6'1" at 290, but my build brings alot of women around me. And some are standoffish at first. But I just move how I always move, holding doors, sharing excess, keeping calm in chaos, loud and directive in collapsing situations, and understanding my fears will never be her fears. But Ima save y'all and regret lol. Once you start getting substained eye contact on 3, occasions. Move in for God's sake lol.

So at work I was walking towards this girl that I think has a crush on me and I decided let me say hi just to see her reaction, and when I said hi she looked at me and just nodded lol. She used to hold eye contact now when she sees me and I see her looking she turns away quickly lol

why does she act like she doesn't notice me when I try to make eye contact?
