there was a review that said “Geordie Greep sounds exactly like someone named Geordie Greep”
StudioScarecrow
Watching his interview with Fantano, he very much has an MLE or multicultural london english accent, but when singing he just does whatever he wants
Kabingaaaa
I feel like it’s the SpongeBob episode..
Bro talked in a funny voice too much satirically and his voice got stick that way 😭

for anyone actually interested: one parent was from cornwall and one was from leeds, and he grew up in north london, which is already an unusual mix. As someone from southern england, he definitely sounds british, but with some multicultural influences (potentially african or jamaican)

Geordie does speak kinda weird but its really funny watching americans discover south london accents-
mynewollabilyne
He sounds like exactly where he’s from
troymcclure
I’ve recently discovered Black Midi and I fear I shall not be the same.

I'm not even a native English speaker, and I only found out he's British after I listened to The New Sounds, but he's always sounded perfectly British to me.
Creepfromreu
he sounds like an old timey presenter/circus announcer
rudra
crazy because he was born in south london😭
dipperrecords
bro is speaking the infamous but forgotten mid-Atlantic accent
kibbles
Contemporary affluent London accents incorporate weird Americanisms. I’ve heard this accent so much in past decade
noconno
First time hearing Black Midi I assumed he was not a native English speaker. Almost sounds Scandinavian mixed with Japanese and of course British.
