This is a very pessimistic analysis… according to IMF itslef India will become 5 trillion dollar economy by 2026-27 and makes sense we are already 3.5 trillion or more today … Every country has more problems when it’s a poorer country to manage popukation but India is enetring an era of infrastructure and manuf which govt is pushing hard on…. So even if you consider base effect we would reach 10 Trillion by 2035… your eatimation is very lowballing… India hasn’t even fully capitalised on it’s matket as many infrastructure projects are under construction or in planning stage…

It's a noble cause to develop one's economy for the betterment of the ordinary people's livelihoods. If Indians wish to develop just for the sake of overtaking China, it's bound to fail. China has advantages both in its infrastructure, ease of doing business, economies of scale, higher productivity, lower cost of production, disciplined and educated workforce etc. which India lacks at the moment

i just dont see it, i think the main problem is resources, where will india get the resources to support its population. biggest example is water. china have more water than india but it already having problem not having enough water for manufacturing.
