How to Cheese Darkeater Midir in Dark Souls 3 (2022 Update - Easy Kill)

The Darkeater Midir is one of the hardest bosses in Dark Souls 3 and after dying countless times I found a cheese strategy to easily kill him without having to fully engage him and lead him to his death. The video explains how to cheese him.

So I tried this just to see how it compares to standard melee. It was much, MUCH easier. Probably not cheese-level easy, but definitely not as hard as melee. I used the summons and she actually lived through the whole fight (which only took about 3, maybe 4 mins). My first time through RC he took me ~15 tries to kill. So for those looking for easy(er) mode, this is definitely it (2023 btw).

Thanks man! This truly helped, took me full 3 hrs but lol but managed to beat the damned thing with Pestilent Mist, that crazy laser frenzy attack in the 2nd phase kept screwing me up.

This method worked a treat. I had to move my stats from strength to intelligence but this strategy is much easier than trying to hit his head.

Thanks for the help died over 10 times on level 75 NG ++ however won on the first try with this advice. Would say that for me having a massive health bar was the most important factor in order to barely tank that crazy dark beam attack

For me Fatalis (MHW iceborne) or even white fatalis are the hardest dragon fight I've ever experienced. Midir was very cool tho. Btw thanks for all the advice you gave us.
