Can we all take a moment to appreciate the fact that this is posted to YouTube for free? This is quality work you would normally see only at a theater or a film festival.

I would absolutely buy a vhs of this series.

Edit: I absolutely bought a vhs of this series.

This type of experience of finding random art is what keeps me getting back online.

Leaving this as an unmarked VHS at a truck stop in the middle of the desert would go hard. 📼

Man, can’t believe it’s already been a year since this masterpiece ended. Time flies.

I whole heartedly believe adult swim would put this shit up late night like peak 2am 3am slot. Would be so prime to be changing channels and see this on

This is kinda weird by my dad doesn't really care for films outside of westerns and some older martial arts movies but I happened to turn this on while I was hanging out with him one day and he was captivated by it. So thank you, we didn't finish it, I hope to do it soon but it was a good day with him.

it's gonna premiere at 7:42 PM Eastern time so Mischief will say "the year was 1943" as the time will be 19.43!

Who would have thought some funny ha ha McDonalds posts, would lead to such a compelling full stack piece of art. It's been a trip U M A M I.

I really want to re-live this journey... the best web series by far on YouTube

This movie really made me think a lot about my life. I'm currently living with my mom and my brother is out taking college classes. I discovered this series when I was a senior in high school. Right now I feel my life has no direction and I'm not sure what I want to do with my life. I may come back to this comment in 4 years to update it.

I've set up an in person movie night and plan to showcase this masterpiece to my friends. The immersion is something that must be experienced.

I just recently discovered this while I was quite sick and heavily medicated and decided that this was what I wanted to watch. After finishing it, and then rewatching it in a much more coherent state, I can confirm that it was in fact not something I thought I dreamt up at the time. This is a masterpiece and I will definitely be purchasing a copy as this kind of otherworldly nightmare fuel is exactly the kind of art that deserves support. 10/10

Imagine finding an obscure vhs of this in your attic not knowing what it is

You know a piece of art is great when it makes someone who can't draw a damn circle want to create art

Dude, idk why this was recommended to me but holy shit am I enjoying this so much. Been in a creative rut and always compare my art to others when I was so much happier before just creating random things. Thank you for the inspiration and thank you for the wild creation you call INTERFACE 🙏🏾

I would like to leave this message to anyone rewatching this entire series, trying to decipher it and all it's messages and symbolisms, trying to find the clear image, as I have: It's really hard to find that clear image. That is okay. In fact, I daresay that this is by design. It is part of it's beauty. Interface is abstract in nature, and just like in abstract art, the meaning is all up for interpretation. You could labor endlessly trying to decipher the true meaning behind everything, stuck in an endless loop trying to do so, haunted by all our questions, seeking answers, lost in time, not unlike Henryk in this series, and be tempted to succumb to a seemingly clear answer to everything that haunts us. But also like Henryk, we can also choose to find the meaning we want for ourselves, and forge onward from that loop, carrying with us, the answer that we have found for ourselves. Of course there COULD be a clear answer to everything, and we could ask U m a m i for them. He COULD have all the answers, but it seems that he isn't intent on giving them away. And that's okay as well. That means we are free to come up with our own meanings for this series, each as distinct and as beautiful as every frame of animation in all 7, 037 seconds of this film. It's as Mischief said at their arrival at the lighthouse:

"If I told you all I know, you would collapse too. It's not my place to tell you. These are things you'll find on your own."

Thank you, U m a m i, for this wonderful modern masterpiece. I'm so glad to have existed just in time to discover it. To everyone else here, I'm glad to have been able to enjoy it with you. And remember:

Don't get lost in time.

Ordered! I just recently discovered this series and I've been obsessed ever since. What an absolute masterwork.
This is the stuff YouTube was made for.

Will not be there for the premiere, but still want to express how much I love your work

This is beautiful.

It's like... Brazil, Peter Chung, Ralph Bakshi, Don Hetrzfeld, and Salad Fingers had a child.

I absolutely love it.
