Preacher Ending 4x10

I got annoyed you couldn’t watch this scene anywhere on YouTube seeing as it’s one of my favourites so I thought I’d post it myself, enjoy.

It's sad on one level, but at the same time we see Cassidy finally find peace, just like his 2 best mates.
Mixed emotions for sure and an ingenious, bitter sweet ending for one of the most likeable characters in recent times.

When he tries to explain why he let the people he loved but had become estranged from drift away without a visit
"I always meant to...I just....I I ... run out of time, you know?" He tries to share how much she meant to him and the pain he is carrying that shows how much she meant, how he still feels the pain of losing her like it was still
And he is interrupted by the sound of children playing in the graveyard. A world that had moved on. And he realizes it is time for him to move on too. This is such an awesome piece of art.

It's really sad that some people hate the show, its one of the most refreshing shows I've seen in awhile. Even if it deviates from the source material a lot, of still feels like the shows creators love the original comic to death. And man the emotional range that the actors show off is crazy

Tulips daughter having the same actress as Tulip threw me off lol.
This was probably the perfect ending to this show I could have seen, it still sticks with me weeks after finishing watching it, Cassidy walking off screen to finally be back with his friends, almost peacefully dying hits me in the heart. </3

I wish they'd kind of kept the ending from the comic for Cassidy. Not necessarily him turning out to be a piece of shit, but that final shot in the comic of him having gotten his humanity back, just sitting and watching the sun rise and set and then drive off with the picture of the three of them was just absolutely perfect as far as endings go.
