Whenever a fighter join smash I was always like “neat, a new character!” Nothing special. But when Steve joined, everything changed. Minecraft was literally my most played game ever.

The best difference between a fortnite collab and a new smash bros character is that, in fortnites case they are effectively all the same person with potentially modified hit boxes, and they'll do a collab with almost anyone. But with smash bros, the chsracter gets at leasts 19 pretty unique moves, and has a lot more effort put in than just copy pasting the 3d character model over your default character
