The final moments for BBC Two Northern Ireland analogue at 00:23, 10th October 2012. The announcer is David Olver. This was how it appeared on satellite. Those watching on analogue had their signal cut off after the old 1980's vintage BBC 2 swiped away to the left for the final time, also bringing an end to Ceefax on BBC 2.

I'm glad that televisions went from analogue to digital as analogue could easily be disrupted by nearby interference whereas digital cannot

I remember the hype about the digital switchover here, and there as a huge advertisement campaign, and toys and worry. I was excited about the switchover.
