60 second guide for cutting and bending acrylic hardline tubing

Since I firmly believe acrylic to be the superior material over PETG, I wanted to make a short tutorial on how to cut and bend PMMA ( acrylic ) tubing / hard tubing perfectly every time.

My preferred tubing size is by far 10/14mm acrylic tubing. It is easy to bend, and looks fantastic in all builds.

I normally don't use a bending guide, and instead do the bends free hand. When you heat up the tube the same way each time, the bends will have the same radius, and thus look alike.

If you tubes starts to bubble, then you heated it too much. If it kinks, crumbles, or you get flat spots on the tube, you did not heat it enough.

Happy bending!

"The wider the area of the tube you heat up, the bigger the radius is gonna be."

Thank you! Now I know why my bends have such huge radii! This piece of info will come in handy when I'll come around to re-do the tubing.

Dude I fucking love this channel.. I have not seen anything even close to as perfect as your overall aesthetics and perfection specifically for cable management and customisation.. I prefer the slick looks and attention to detail your builds have over any other over the top "design" ones here on youtube..

Placing it on the edge of a table for a 90 degree bend was genius. Ty for sharing.

Dude you make this look easy I've wasted 8 tubes trying to do a simple 90 I keep getting a flare where the bend is

The clamp mounted to the table used in the beginning, cut thru the middle of it in the same spot, doesn't hurt the clamp, it still works & it will hold both ends of the pipe still without any part hanging off while you saw that can screw up your cut, or use two clamps.

The black thing inside the tube, what is it? Is it silicone? Did you bought it or made it? Can I go over 90°?
