A Day in the Life of Murka, my Russian Blue Cat

Welcome to a day in the life of my cat! Murka is my beloved Russian Blue and I've had her for about fourteen years now, so if you're interested in the breed or if you just like cats in general, feel free to ask any questions or share your own cat stories in the comment section.

Beautiful kitty😁 I also have a male Russian Blue/ Korat. He's a AWESOME cat!! Very vocal for sure and he CRAVES attention. Can't get enough of it. His name is Smokey and I also call him 'Block Captain' when he's up high or watching intently out the window. Wet food is the best food for all kitties! Dry food - no matter how high quality is just not as good for them. Kibble doesn't exist in the wild and ultimately causes all kinds of health issues. This beautiful girl deserves the best!

I love them, only from appearance, so I have some questions if you don't mind.
1. Did you get her as a kitten?
2. Was she easy to train?
3. Is she always peaceful?
4. Has she ever hurt you?

Quick update: finally have a nice boy, very sociable, learning a lot, doesn't bite or Claw me intentionally but I've been clawed several times. Learning a lot as we go on, currently training him on the harness. Getting to understand his personality too... overall he's a good boy!

I love your sense of humor. I have a Russian Blue male named Lev that I was fortunate to adopt at age 4 months. He is everything you talk about. He recently received the present of a two month younger female calico from the same adoption agency and he is thrilled and generous with his home. He has an indoor tree and I couldn't believe he let her not only near it but on the top deck. I can't even go near it to open a window because he is "in a primal hiding state". Please keep making your videos and thank you.

Lovely cat. Russian Blues are so awesome. All cats are awesome, of course, but Blues are so just a little more.
Wow, she is fourteen? Wouldn't have guessed that, you must have given her a lot of extra-special care, she looks so strong and healthy.

I have a male Russian Blue I adopted from a cat shelter a couple of years ago. His name is Romeo. I keep him inside because he’s tried to run away several times. I have no idea his exact age, however I was told by the vet that his estimated age then was approximately one and a half to two year old. He is the best cat I’ve ever owned and was lucky to have found him in a shelter at all. He wasn’t coping at all being caged up. He showed to be distressed. The shelter couldn’t thank me enough for giving him a home. He is so happy now and gets into a lot of mischief. He follows me everywhere. He steels my husbands chair every chance he gets and curls up to sleep. He’s so funny and so affectionate. Who couldn’t love a Russian Blue to bits?
