Good info, even as a reminder for someone already familiar with it. Even if it's hard to buy one, interest in GPUs has possibly never been greater so it's a good idea to put out content for all the folks who just entered the space.

Hey, like ur content and i wanted to know if the GPU Clock speed is important because i want to get the AMD RADEON rx 6950 xt wich have 1890 Mhz but i saw that the RED Dragon rx 6800 xt have 2000 Mhz, should i go for the 6800xt wich is 150$ less than the rx 6950 xt, even thought money is not my problem here i just want the more powerful one.

oh as HBM pin speed is up to 4.0 Gbps and with 1024 bit bus the bandwidth is 512GB/s on
a 1x8gb chip and with the short coming of GDDR6/x 7:28 this how close Vrm needs to be to
the package to be fast, this makes even a 2.5d package with a pair of 2 HBM chips that would
be 16GB and 1024GB/s bandwidth in this form factor 47.5mm x 47.5mm 6:29 would be easier
PCB design to work with vs Ampere package of 51mm x 51mm and even with fastest GDDR6x
12X2GB 24GB 1008GB/s bandwidth

Quick VRAM speed clock question. Like computer RAM, you double your speed, i.e 1600mhz x 2 = 3200mhz, is that the same with VRAM? I'm confused because it shows clock speeds much lower on the memory clock, about half when it's supposed to be running at 19500mhz.

Heavily modding my skyrim game with graphics and new locations mods, my RX 5600 XT is suffering (even though cp77 runs pretty smooth on 1080p). What do I need to look at in a new GPU considering my needs? I was thinking of ASUS RX 7900 XT or XTX if it would make a big difference.
My other pc specs are:
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600
RAM - 16 GB corsair 3600mhz
Motherboard - B450 Aorus Elite
Power Supply - AORUS P750W 80+ GOLD Modular

Hmm I think, at the most basic, 3D graphics acceleration is not really required on a graphics card. All it need is someway to draw a frame buffer and converts it to HDMI or DP signal.

With that said, graphics card without 3D acceleration is kinda useless nowadays.
