Back when the show was still trying to find its thematic ground & was taking the family guy cutaway approach. Really interesting to see how quickly it decided to evolve into the show it did.

Even though this looks like a high-quality comedy out of context, there's still enough of an atmosphere to let you know this is supposed to be really messed up. Bojack Horseman is really good at making you feel whatever you're supposed to feel.
