Which is Your Favourite Chapter of Fortnite?

The reason why some people might still prefer the chapter 1 graphics is possibly because of how cartoonish they were. It was very appealing to the eye that way

I like how Chapter 4 is a combination of the three early chapters, specially with the water, it still has the cartoon splash of Chapter 3 but Chapter 2 physics where the waves spread.

Chapter four definitely has the most realistic graphics epic has put out. But something about that old style from chapter one won’t be topped.

6:46 notice how in every new chapter the buildings got more square and less cartoonish, that's what i loved about Fortnite :(

Chapter 1 water looks similar to chapter 4. I like the new graphics. Feels kinda OG but also not at the same time

I liked how everything in Chapter 1 was whimsical. Doors and windows were skewed and most props weren't completely proportioned correctly. Street poles were bent a little. Even the weapons were weirdly shaped like a little kid drew them. The pickaxe was enormous compared to the new standard pickaxe.

They seem to have gone for a more realistic approach to modeling in Chapters 3 and 4. You can clearly see it in the house showcase. If you hold the modern Scar, you can clearly tell it has been modelled off of the real thing now. There are no weird proportions that made Fortnite unique back in the day. Now it's just another Battle Royale.

imo Chapter 2 was the best. The cinematics we're soooo good, and the it honestly felt like you were playing in a movie. The later seasons were much better. I feel like seasons 5-8 had the best in-game cinematography and movie-like quality. Who cares if the newer chapters have unrealengine 5.1 or something, I still think this chapter was fantastic.

The old graphics still look amazing and ran so much better on pc’s. Now fortnite is turning into cyberpunk.

I know that chapter 4 has the best graphics if you look past opinion and nostalgia, but there’s still some coziness to the chapter 1 graphics that I prefer over 4’s. I will say though, that 4’s come very close to being my favorite.

i cant be the only one who prefers the cartoony look and feel of chapter 1 fortnite over the "realistic" approach they took in the later chapters :/

Chapter 4 has the best graphics but the reason ppl like chapter 1 graphics was bc it had Fortnite’s culture built into the graphics I hope if they do another graphical change they make chapter 4 have old textures while keeping it beautiful

There's something special with Chapter 1 and 4 graphics, 2 and 3 looks good, especially chapter 2, but there's a real improvement with chapter 4, and chapter 1 looks ugly from the sky and looks charming on the land

Wow…late Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 looked great but Chapter 1 and Chapter 4 perfectly capture that Fortnite feeling

Fortnite is still very much stylized, but environments and buildings no longer have wonky proportions. Well some do.
