Im from Northern Ireland and was in Surrey two years ago for a wedding and on the Monday travelled to London for the day and came out at Lomdon Bridge station and Borough Market was just up the street it was an amazing place the aromas and the atmosphere really enjoyed it .

The Market is great but oh man is it EXPENSIVE. Go around the Corner and you will find far cheaper Indie Shops 👍

Halibut isn't the usual go to, in fact I don't remember any British person I know who has ever chosen that over cod, haddock..times back maybe plaice/skate too when I was younger and we do have French fries but those are the skinny rubbish things you get at somewhere like McDonald's - proper chips are chunky....crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside..

I used to go there most weekends when we lived in East London 25 years ago (seems like yesterday 😱). Back then I never missed the wood-grilled chorizo and rocket-filled bread rolls at Brindisa I’d never eaten anything like it 😋. I imagine it’s not there now!

This place is overrated though, small cup of strawberries covered in melted chocolate £8, absolutely ridiculous and overpriced

Avoid Borough market at any cost if you visit London. The prices are extorsive run from that area.

You quite literally had the Instagram foods I tell people to avoid. Bomba Paella and Fish! Kitchen are my top two “avoid” recommendations. The only thing you had that is unambiguously good was Monmouth coffe.
