Taken from an 2020 album Morbid Muhammad.
The band was supposedly founded in Iraq in 2011 and is attributed to the small scene of Arab metal bands that critically deal with Islam. Apparently, two women and two men are currently playing in the band. Photos of the band members have been plagiarized from a number of sources, including promotional photos by Norwegian black metal band Vulture Lord, and from a photo set by Mexican photographer Raúl González. Commentators, such as Metalluminati author Hetal, have also questioned many inconsistencies in several interviews with front woman Anahita relating to the band member's timelines and activities. In 2012, Younes and Yousef were replaced by Jebrael and Mohammad. Nothing is known about the true identity of the band members.
Seeds of Iblis play raw Black Metal influenced by Arabic music. As influences they give Venom , Bathory , Mayhem and Slayer . In contrast to many other black metal bands that deal with anti-Christian themes in their lyrics, Seeds of Iblis treat anti-Islamic motifs. In addition, a kind of Islamic Satanism is taken up, some texts praise Iblis , a demon ( Shaitan ) mentioned in the Koran who has fallen away from God.
Seeds of Iblis is a part of the Arabic Anti-Islamic Legion along with تدنيس, Janaza, مسجد الشيطان (Mosque of Satan) and False Allah.
