Experiment with Sodium hydroxide and aluminum foil

In this chemistry lab, we conduct an experiment involving sodium hydroxide, aluminum foil, and water. The reaction between sodium hydroxide and aluminum foil in water produces hydrogen gas, which is then captured in a balloon. The video demonstrates the process of preparing the sodium hydroxide solution, observing the reaction with aluminum foil, and capturing the gas in a balloon. We then explore the reaction of the captured hydrogen gas when it is introduced to a soapy water solution.
