Endless, sunny weather year-round is an advantage, but also means that droughts are a fact of life, here. Sometimes they last for 10 years or more! That said, I live here, and I wouldn't live here unless I liked living here.

Aussies are a tough breed, just criminally enough minded to make life fun and interesting, but not so criminally minded that they are a danger to themselves or others. This is mostly true, but there are of course exceptions.
