Just helped my buddy get this up and running. Plugged in his 42 year old bass guitar into the interface, armed it for record and he began playing. Even on the built in Mac speakers, the tone was bright, crisp and responsive. We started fiddling with the effects pedals and my jaw hit the floor. If you play an instrument and want to record on your computer, this is is the DAW for you. I've used Ableton and Pro Tools for years and would gladly give up those DAW's for this. It's awesome.

This was good, thank you! Assuming studio one 4 is similar to 5 this has helped me make up my mind about getting this program. I’m currently using Logic Pro X and this seems very similar so I might like it.

Studio One is a nice daw. I've been using artist 3 for awhile. I'm now using 4 pro demo and really like it. I also own the faderport 8 which controls everything in studio one. Presonus has some nice studio additions.

Just wow!! I've switched from FL Studio too studio one last night and this video makes it look very easy!! I have one concern though - a big one. How do I automate every button like I could on FL please because automation plays a huge part in my sound design process. I really hope there's a work around mate.

Wow, my first daw....I just want my kid to lay down layered key board tracks with some vocals.
With this daw I’m like a full blown Rick Rueben.
I like your straight smooth business approach.
Thank you

Awesome tour of the ui, just what I needed. At the end of the video you said you offered 1-1 training though zoom, but didn't post the info on the description. I might be interested, what are the details?

This was helpful for a description of the available functions, however; as a new owner/user of the program, I was hoping to see a step by step application of the program. In other words a "how to" lay down the individual tracks starting with the drums, adding base, guitar, keys, vocals etc. I have found that the feature nuances can be learned and utilized as the user becomes familiar. As a songwriter; I just want to get to work setting up the rhythm track, instruments and vocals...blah... In any case; this was really good technical info.
