Running Wild - Airborne - Guitar Cover

Okay so motivation sorted, after the other day learning and recording a couple of easy ones. Today decided to learn and record another classic Aussie band. My first Airborne one but probably not the last. They have some awesome AC/DC like riffs throughout their songs. Perhaps that can be construed as a criticism, on the contrary I think they are still quite unique; the drums are what reminds me most of AC/DC, that incessant beat. Guitar tone is certainly reminiscent of 70's hard rock bands in the tone. I think this suits the Les Paul and Mesa Boogie via Headrush to a tee, although I note they use Marshalls.
There are probably a million other covers of this one online by much better guitarists, but it's nice to hear it on this guitar/amp/pedalboard combo. Again, it's just an iphone on a stand recording this, so I can assure you it sounds bloody awesome live standing next to that big stack. (With the attenuators fully engaged of course ;) or I would be deaf by now)

Tuning is half a step UP to match the record so F instead of E etc. You could play it in standard tuning with a capo on the first fret if you prefer.

Excellent job Mate! My band does this but we;re down half a step on standard tuning (D#) due to my voice being that of a knackered 69 YO who's been screaming too long!!!
