Chris, your analyses of tunes are wonderful - knowing the function of the harmony and solos is so valuable - it helps me remember the lines and understand where I might use them in other tunes and solos. initially it's, to my ear, a 1 to iv to i to iv...typical blues pattern. then a bit of chromatic decension from iv to iii then a v7 altered (i've heard it called a flat 10) with at least the major third the minor 7th and the flat 10.
