I just purchased an 8 x 10 camera and just stumbled on this video. I hope you’re still doing this though the video is four years old. Whatever your tools whatever you process, they are mostly irrelevant because the real thing is the images and they are absolutely beautiful.

I really need to get back into wet plate photography. The class at Dallas Center for Photography with Lisa Elmaleh was great. Not sure if I have met Ellen yet. She may have dropped by Don's Used Photo Equipment while I was there. This is some beautiful work. Oh, and a very nice video.

Super cool! I always wanted a gipsy photo wagons from the past. Looks like it would draw customers in where ever you go? I presume you need a vendors license to charge people or perhaps you can ask for donations. Using a strobe is a great idea to get the exposure time down. What is the f stop of the lens, shutter time and asa of the tin type?
