The rocket is too slow for control surface control. You need thrust vector.

It looks like most of the weight, consisting of motors and batteries, is concentrated at the tail end of the rocket. The center of mass needs to be forward for stability.

Thank you. Your rockets go too slow to build up the slipstream that would keep them upright in flight, but I still admire your experiments because I have always wondered how well a propeller-driven rocket would work. Now how about a tip: Instead of putting the motor and propeller assembly on the bottom of the rocket, how about putting it on the top of the rocket? I must mention that your electric rocket is not too different from a similar electric rocket concept I had at the age of 12 consisting of something like a model rocket about a foot high, with a high-speed, 3600-rpm battery-powered motor and propeller assembly at its cone. Of course I knew that the rocket would not develop enough vertical airspeed to stabilize it, and so that I was why I had, in my 12-year-old imagination, the rocket hanging from its propulsion system instead of being mounted atop its propulsion system like a conventional rocket. I also fantasized about how wonderful it would be for such a rocket to be able to go 25 miles high to reach into the stratosphere before the batteries ran out --- though I knew it would take a few hours to get there with a maximum vertical speed of what I hopefully fantasized to be 10 mph with its propeller-driven propulsion system and the batteries being able to put out power for 3 hours before going dead. Of course I now know the myriad of problems that such a rocket system would have encountered. For one thing, the vertical speed would be extremely slow --- though of course I knew to expect that from a propeller-driven rocket even at the young age of 12. For another thing, I also now know that the weight of the batteries alone would hinder such a rocket from being successful. For still another thing, the torque of the spinning propeller would spin the entire rocket like a helicopter without a tail rotor. But even with the beating of all of those odds, the rocket still wouldn't have reached 25 miles high because the thinness of the air would make a propeller useless above a height of just four or five miles, let alone 25. But even with all of those impracticalities, I still like to see you experiment with your rockets because all inventions that are successful come about from people who daydreamed and fantasized in spite of the seeming impracticalities. KEEP UP THE ROCKET EXPERIMENTS! And try building and launching a rocket with a head-mounted motor instead of a tail-mounted motor, okay?

This reminds me of the films of German V-1 rocket tests

If you want these electric rockets to fly straight upward you're going to need a gyroscope in the nose. It's the only way that such a slow flying machine is going to be able to hold its relative position in space. Good luck and keep trying. They are interesting craft.

Counter rotating props for the win. Cancel out that torque and you might have a solid chance at using those control surfaces

Rocket - needs two motors - one on the nose to counter act the torque of the rear motor.

When you get trained in using this, you could build in bombs and use them for "personal use"
