JX-8P は Roland シンセの中で一番上品な音だと思います。
当時、JX-8P は高くて買えず、α-Juno 2 を購入した経験がありましたが、
その2年後、Yamaha DX7-Ⅱ と Roland D50 と Korg M1 を同時に購入したり、
Yamaha TX81Z 及び Oberheim Matrix-1000 を購入も Roland Super-JD 同じく JV-2080 そして MKS-50 最後は jp-8000 と揃えました。
この間当然に音響設備の充実も図り高級マイク５－６本 高級ニーブ製HAを二台揃えて AKAI 16トラックマルチレコーディングシステムも揃えましたが、
現在では埃をかぶっって一室に物置のごとくの扱いです。

My first synth back in 1986. It is really logically laid out, super easy to program and can do some insanely powerful sawtooth polysynth style patches as well as much more delicate strings and pads. I came up with tons of ideas and recorded it all on cassette.The synth dissappeared from my life many years ago but now I´ve found a wonderfully accurate free VST plugin so I am going through my catalogue of stuff and re-recording the good ideas, copying the sound as close as I can and then buildning arrangementes around it, using mainly the Korg M1 and Dexed DX7 emulator to get this nice late 1980´s sound.

...it's actually 6 voice polyphonic, and the JX10(which is basically two JX8Ps in one) is 12 voice polyphonic.

5:06 This is very nice. Too many synth players route aftertouch to some kind of vibrato. Vibrato often makes a synth sound like it's going haywire and out of tune. Mr. musictrackjp doesn't do that either through aftertouch, the mod wheel, etc. very often and it's one of the reasons, in my opinion at least, that his demos are always so tastefully great.

I came here to see how this sounded after all these years. As soon as i saw who was playing it i had my answer. Mine NEVER sounded like this one lol
