for people wondering, the lexar pro 2tb or 1tb is much better, more reliable, includes the usb c adapter, + it has a usb c hub as well which enables you to charge your iphone while the ssd is in so you can record in 4k 120 fps and charge while also being conncted to a mic or something else, but its expensive, the whole lexar rigg costs $320 for the max config, the 1tb costs $220 but thats only the usb c adapter and the ssd, you dont rly need the usb c hub but its only $35

we lost microSD expansion for this, just let that sink in, we are already seeing 2TB microSD cards hitting the market and we cant use them, we have to buy this instead

Looks great until you consider theres no support for the ssd if you take your hand off except a not so robust usb c port that would be costly to repair.

Planck is making a smaller drive. Kickstarter though. I'm a sucker though so I went for it. Its small enough to fit on the bottom of most phones and should fit nicely on my iPad. Only concern is the strain on the USB-c connector...
