IDF Celebrating Shabbat in the Jewish Quarter

On August 20th we were in Israel and a group of us were walking from the Dan Panorama to the Kotel to participate in the Shabbat service. As we came into the Jewish Quarter of the Old city of Jerusalem, this is what we saw....It was amazing-- The young Jewish IDF soldiers were celebrating as they prepared to march down to the Kotel for Shabbat. When we came upon the celebration, we watched and admired their passion and when they finished they lead the group of people watching to the Kotel.

It sure would be wonderful to see this level of patriotism, acknowledgment of God and comradeship among America's youth.
