God, I love how the audio changes depending on which world we're in. The cartoon world has the sound right in your ears, I'm not sure how to describe it, sort of like when a song plays in a movie or show adn the characters can't hear, even if they're singing or dancing to it? But for Gavriel, it's like the music is coming from his phone, as if Jack were playing it for him so he'd understand the reference. It feels more diegetic for Gavriel, if I'm using the word correctly. Like Gavriel hears and understands it as a song playing while, for Jack, it's just.. idk, regular sound??
I'm not sure if I'm describing it right, but I love it!!
