I'm a U.S. Navy Veteran. When I was active I was very surprised hearing how different the news was from the truth, regarding military operations. One day we would hear about some accident or something during a military exercise, and the following day on the news the story would get so twisted that it didn't reflect at all what happened. The only aspect of the truth was the individual vehicles involved.

Don't believe the news when they talk about our military. They have an entire job profile, Navy Rating or Military MOS, "Mass Communication Specialist" solely dedicated to presenting to the media.

This makes absolutely no sense. The commander of the Gettysburg should be reprimanded and relieved of command. How many “hostile aircraft” were in the air? NONE. Was this plane mistaken for a missile? Really, we can’t distinguish between a plane and a missile… we have the most advanced ship defense systems in the world and we can’t identify our own plane? ever heard of “IFF” …heads need to toll for this!
