Hotel Ilulissat Best Western Plus in Ilulissat, Greenland

Hotel Ilulissat in Greenland is located in the heart of Ilulissat city, which means that everything you will ever need is just around the corner. The supermarkets, the restaurants, and the tourist information office are just a few-minute walk. The Icefjord is about a 15-minute walk.

At the top of the hotel, you will find the breakfast area on the Rooftop that offers a panoramic view of Ilulissat Icefjord as well as the town of Ilulissat, while enjoying your full breakfast, lunch, dinner, or maybe just a cup of coffee and a small cake. The lobby has calming music and you can buy a beer or coffee to sit and relax.

The hotel offers a free airport shuttle ride. You will have to call the hotel the night before your arrival to give them your flight information so that they pick you up at the airport. They can also drop you off at the airport after you check out.

Erik the red called it greenland. Of cause there are green places, but it was problably a marketing stunt. And iceland was already taken

Eric the red was a viking. He was expelled from iceland because he killed a neighbour. And settled in the green area of greenland (at least in the summer). So they had goats sheep And cows. Giving then hay during winter. I dont think he got to vinland. But I think his son did
