Beautiful! I would love to tame a woodie! I came across a fledgling last week, strutting down the path - I approached it and it quickened it's pace but wasn't quite able to fly yet, though it was trying. I managed to pick it up and pet it, then I put it in the dense hedge nearby to where I found it, to encourage it to stay away from the road! They are so vulnerable at that time. Lovely little thing it was. I was pleased to see it later on that day on the other side of the road, it had obviously successfully navigated!
