The part where he first sings, "He is born! He is born! The Son of God has come to dwell." Ah, it gets me every time. I imagine the Jews in that time, just struggling so hard. I imagine us nowadays, so lost and desperate. "He has come to save the world." God's firstborn of all creation (Noel), that is, the heir of all creation, and God incarnate, has come to save us all.

Imagine the excitement of those Jews who realized He was who He was. Even today, poor in spirit, understanding our desperate situation, we sing Noel.
