Nikon Z8 Settings That I Changed Right Away

There are a ton of settings on the Nikon Z8, but these were some of the settings that I had to change right away.

0:00 - Intro

0:17 - Camera Sensor Shield

0:37 - Long Exposure Shutter Speeds

1:08 - Displays

2:40 - Focus Point Wrap-Around

3:16 - Focus Point Speed

Great video thanks! I have a question in video mode is there a way for the histogram to show up in the view finder and also on the display? I seem to only get it to show up in the photo mode. If not what is the best way to know that your exposure is correct?

I am not able to activate the histogram on the screen it is only activated in the viewfinder. i have followed all the above steps mentioned in the video. please help

Hi Massimo, I can't believe it comes with the sensor shield turned off ! That is madness. Anyway re. Monitor and Viewfinder views, do you know if there is a way to quickly change between Display 1 and display 4 without going into the menu options and without using my function buttons? Added the horizon on which is great for landscapes but don't want it on for other shots. If its a case of going into the menu every time I will leave it off and straighten later in PS if i have to.

my display goes off in about 20 seconds how could I leave it on for a longer amount of time

I just switched from D850 to Z8 and the camera struggles to find focus when I am in the studio and use only the modeling lamp. The lens keeps searching and searching. Help :)

Hey, can anyone tell me why the time remaining on my main lcd screen is different than the time remaining on the top of the nikon z8?The time remaining on the top lcd screen is about 45 mins longer than the time displayed on the main larger lcd screen. Just want to make sure I know how long to shoot on my card before its full and don't know which one to trust on a wedding day! Thanks all.
