The foundational lesson of this test should be:
The recognition of the monstrous nature of life & the glory in its character. The realisation that this is just how it is and it cannot and will not be changed. Those who think (and their name is legion) that they know better how the world could be better than it is, how it could of been if they had created it, without pain, without sorrow, without time, without life, are unfit for illumination. Or those who think let me first fix society before I get around to myself should be forever barred from even the outer gate of sacred peace.
All societies are evil, sorrowful, & unequal and so they will always be. If you want the world to be better you must teach people to live in it! Only someone who has himself found the path of participating joyfully in the sorrows of life is fit to teach others.
