With full Google Play access, you can download a huge selection of apps onto this Prime rival. However, the circular display means a lot of these apps are awkward to use. Thankfully you do get plenty of pre-installed options for tracking your stats and more, plus a good selection of watch faces.

The Kospet Optimus 2 also offers impressive customisation, SIM support and a mic and speaker. So overall, some pretty good features for the cash.

Hi. Even if the applications are not optimized for the round screen there is the option in square format by holding down the top button.

If you hold in the power button you will get the option to change the screen into square mode in order to access some onscreen buttons.

People in a few years will probably look back on this tech and laugh, watching it on 8k ultra slim watch screens with nano batteries that last 50 years between charges. And the AI personal assistant on their watch will probably laugh along with them.

Questions if I may Sir Spurt?
1. Any water resistance?
2. Can you come back in a few days with an update on battery life as Kospet are very, very well known to lie about battery size?
3. Are you sure there is not a square screen mode for reaching menu items off screen? These watches usually do?

If this technology gathered more interest and got more invested into, it could very well be an alternative to a normal smartphone in the future. Even more than a foldable considering this would be cheap af. Hope bigger players get into this market.

This watch overall is a very nice watch, the only issue which is more of a warning is that it has absolutely NO IP Rating whatsoever, don't let the "life waterproof" fool you because it's an absolute lie, and the fact that KOSPET can lie like this makes me feel that I could in no way recommend it. The camera has a nifty feature that allows it to swing, this is the sole reason that it is not at all waterproof. Behind this rotating camera is a little ribbon that runs into the watch, and to get this ribbon inside there is a BIG hole in the side of the watch, this can easily be verified by removing the Sim card tray and simply blowing into the watch, you will feel and hear the air happily flowing out of the gap by the camera. And don't think keeping the camera flipped down will help because it absolutely won't unfortunately. I give this warning because my watch got wet, just from a simple hand wash for 5 seconds and the water got everywhere in the watch, the screen died and the phone took 2 weeks to just turn back on, the watch had to then be disassembled to be thoroughly cleaned inside for it to start working again. This is when I discovered the nice hole that goes straight through the watch frame. The buttons are also not water proof so if you press while near water it will get in unfortunately. This device has son much possibilities but the absolute lack of any water resistance coupled with the ip rating lie makes me suggest you move on to a different device / brand altogether. I'm first smart watch was an Amazfit and this device is totally waterproof so perhaps I had too high an expectation that I could simply wash my hand and not worry.

I loved wearing it. I have already talked to Kospet, but they couldn't help me because they don't have the charger anymore. I had the Kospet Optimus Pro - it's basically Android in watch form but I had constant problems with battery life, overheating, build quality: the corners connecting the strap to the case snapped off so I superglued them back on and the final nail in the coffin - the power button mechanism failed so I can't actually switch the watch on anymore.

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 to replace it and I've never looked back, all in all my Optimus Pro lasted about 6 months and there's no guarantee as well. ☹️

I could easily live with round screen, square os issues because there were so many workarounds but the poor build quality killed everything for me - these full Android watches are interesting but as day to day watches they're simply too unreliable to be taken seriously! 🤔

Okay so I bought this watch and it's friggin awesome, except for one major problem: it puts off a ton of EMF. The WiFi will blast you away, so I put this thing in Airplane mode and my Trifield EMF reader was still picking up significant RF radiation from it which was unbelievable, but at the same time not really surprising given it's Chinese. It is really too bad, because it is such a cool watch and idk how to stop that. I wish I knew which radio(s) were responsible. Right now it's sitting on a nearby table away from me in Airplane mode, blasting away at everything around it for no apparent reason at all. I compared it with my Samsung Galaxy Active 2 just to make sure, and there was no apparent emission of EMF coming from their Airplane mode.

If you hold the blue button down for a few seconds and you can change to a square watch face which then gives you complete access to the YouTube controls the more you play with this watch the more you learn about it still it wasn't a bad video but maybe you could do another vid on the Optimus prime 2 after you have had it a while longer cheers J

KOSPET OPTIMUS 2 does not reach 13MP pixels as he said. If you like to take a clear picture, you can take a look at the Rogbid Panda. His main camera can automatically focus and is a rare deep waterproof watch. I like it very much. !

Its like a James bond watch.. camera and all. Love the chipset. Only downside is i'll have to spend a year in the gym doing wrist curls (fnarr fnarr) to make my wrist big enough to take it ha ha. Great review and good mix of tech and funnies as usual Spurt. Top job my man

You can push the air bubble out by pressing with your finger and sliding the air bubble out I hope this helps you get the air bubble pushed out from underneath the screen Protector it happened to me too so I just pushed the air bubble out from underneath the screen protector
